Paradeep
is a major commercial seaport of India's trade
activities with a fine sea beach that offers
evergreen forests, a huge estuary of the Mahanadi
with islands and creeks,a good marine drive
and beach. Known as 'Tulasi Kshetra' it is
also famous for its temple site of Lord Baladeva.
Paradeep is a hectic tourist spot today. Lying
94 km from Cuttack and 125 km from Bhubaneswar,
it offers a beautiful fine grained white beach,
lovely creeks, a rivetting estuary with evergreen
forests abounding on the estuarian islands
of the Mahanadi.
A major part of Orissa, Paradeep also boasts
of a fine beach where visitors can easily
spend a couple of hours soaking in the sun
or frolicking in the lovely blue waters. |
