| One
of the least trekked areas in the Himalayas
and yet one the most picturesque. Here
you are in the heart of the Himalayan
wilderness surrounded by the biggest
peaks - Nanda Devi (7848 m), Nanda Kot
(6861m), Trishul (7120 m). The trail
passes through pristine villages with
strong local culture and ancient temples.
These villages are rich in heritage
from the Indo- Tibetan trade route and
particularly the two villages of Gogina
and Namik. At time we stay we the local
people in their homes. The trail generally
follows the Ramganga river through deep
forests and rolling meadows with eternal
Himalayas in constant view. Welcome
to the magic. |
